Do Not Draft For 2020

Mitchell Trubisky Quarterback

Chicago Bears

This off-season the Bears may have signaled that they are not confident in Mitchell Trubisky at QB when they traded for Nick Foles on March 18. Trubisky gave the Bears reason to think this move was needed as he finished last season 28th in total QBR (39.4) and 28th in tradition QBR (83.0). He also was tied for 27th in touchdown passes (17), 21st in passing yards (3138) and 32nd in yards gained per pass attempt (6.1). Bears coach Matt Nagy said that the Bears will have a QB competition which would be bad for Trubisky. The reason it would be bad for Trubisky is Foles already knows the offense. Foles had his best season with Bear coaches Matt Nagy, Bill Lazor, Juan Castillo and John DeFippo when they were in Philadelphia. This is bad for Trubisky especially in a condensed off-season.

Derrius Guice

Running Back

Washington Redskins

Since Derrius Guise entered the NFL out of LSU in 2018 it has been a real struggle for him to stay on the field. He has missed 27 of 32 games since 2018. In 2018 he missed the entire season (16 games) with a torn ACL. Last season Guise missed 11 games with a meniscus tear and a MCL sprain. Now Guise finds himself in a RBBC of 6 RBs including himself which is not good.

DeSean Jackson

Wide Receiver Philadelphia Eagles

DeSean Jackson is the ultimate boom or bust player and he will most likely will be a bust this season. He has not played a full 16 games since the 2013 season. In 2017 he missed 2 games with a sprained ankle. In 2018 he missed 4 games with a concussion, Achilles injury and a sprained thumb. Last season he missed 13 games with a core muscle injury. The injuries will most likely continue to pile up for D-Jax as he will be 34 years old this season. The Eagles may have drafted Jacksons replacement in Jalen Reagor out of TCU who has a similar skill set as DeSean Jackson.

OJ Howard

Tight End

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On April 21 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers acquired TE Rob Gronkowski from the New England Patriots. This could spell trouble for OJ Howard as he will be behind Gronk for play time. In a condensed off-season Tom Brady and Gronks relationship will hurt Howard as Brady will rely on Gronk more. Howards injury history is a big concern as he has not played an entire season in his career. In 2017 he played 14 of 16 games for the Bucs. In 2018 Howard played in only 10 of 16 games. Last season Howard played in 14 of 16 games.
