Frank Reich

Carolina Panthers

Frank Reich was a 3 sport athlete (basketball, football, and baseball) at Cedar Crest High School in Lennon, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Maryland where Reich was Boomer Esiasons backup. Frank Reich was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 3rd round (57th) overall in the 1985 NFL Draft. He threw the first touchdown pass in Carolina Panthers history in 1995. In 2008 Reich was an offensive coaching staff assistant for the Colts. Reich was the QB coach for the Colts from 2009-2010 when he switched to Colts wide receivers coach in 2011. In 2012 Reich went to the Cardinals as their wide receiver coach. In 2014 he was promoted to offensive coordinator of the Chargers. During Reich's two seasons as San Diego's offensive coordinator, the Chargers ranked third in completions (822), fourth in completion percentage (66.2) and fifth in the NFL in net passing yards (8,869) Reich was the Eagles offensive coordinator in 2017 when they won the Super Bowl.The Eagles ranked in the top 10 in numerous categories in 2017, including yards per game (365.8 – seventh), rushing yards per game (132.2 – third), interception rate (1.60 – sixth), first downs per game (21.1 – fourth), third down percentage (41.74 – eight), fourth down percentage (65.38 – third), red zone percentage (65.45 – first), goal to go percentage (83.33 – third), average time of possession (32:41 – first) and points per game (28.6 – third).In 2018 he was named the coach of the Indianapolis Colts. Frank Reich was hired as the head coach of the Carolina Panthers on January 26, 2023.

Thomas Brown attended the University of Georgia. Brown was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the 6th round of the 2008 NFL Draft. In February of 2014 Brown was hired as running back coach of the Wisconsin Badgers. In 2015 he returned to the University of Georgia as running back coach. Brown was hired by the University of Miami as running back coach and offensive coordinator after one season at Georgia. In 2018, the Canes rushed for 2,489 yards, an average of 5.2 yards per carry while scoring 25 rushing touchdowns. In 2019 he was hired as the running back coach at the University of South Carolina. In February of 2020 Brown was named the Rams running back coach and then a year later in 2021 was named assistant head coach.In Browns’ first season in Los Angeles as Rams RB coach in 2020, Brown oversaw a rushing attack that finished 10th in the league, averaging 126.1 rushing yards per game. Thomas Brown was named the offensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers on February 17, 2023.





DeMeco Ryans

Houston Texans

DeMeco Ryans attended Jess Lamier High School in Bessemer,Alabama. For college he attended the University of Alabama from

2002-2005. Ryans was selected in the 2nd round (33rd) overall by the Houston Texans in the 2006 NFL Draft. In February of 2017 Ryans was hired by the San Francisco 49ers as defensive quality control coach. In 2018 he was promoted to inside linebackers coach in San Francisco. In 2020, Ryans helped the 49ers defense rank fifth in the NFL total yards allowed per game (359.0) and seventh in rush defense (118.9) In Ryans’ first season as defensive coordinator in 2021, the 49ers defense allowed 310.0 total yards per game, ranking third in the NFL. San Francisco also surrendered the sixth-fewest passing yards per game (206.5) In Ryans’ second season as defensive coordinator, in 2022 the 49ers defense ranked first in total defense (300.6 yards/game), total points allowed (277) and points allowed per game (16.3) in the 2022 regular season. San Francisco's defense allowed just 37 red zone trips, the fewest in the league. The 49ers limited explosive plays, allowing the fewest plays of 10-or-more yards (168), while holding opponents to the fourth-fewest yards per play overall (4.98 yards). Additionally, San Francisco allowed the second-fewest first downs (291) and first down yards (4.69 yards) on the season. The defense recorded 20 interceptions on the season, tied for the most in the NFL, while their seven returns of 20-or-more yards tied for second-most. Ryans guided a San Francisco defense that forced three-and-outs on 27.3 percent of their opportunities, fourth-highest in the NFL, while registering 44.0 sacks, tied for 10th in the league. They finished as the top defense in football by DVOA, second by weighted DVOA, fifth against the pass, and second against the rush. He was named as the PFWA Assistant Coach of the Year. Ryans was in 2021 promoted to defensive coordinator of the 49ers. DeMeco Ryans was hired on January 31, 2023 to be the Houston Texans head coach.

Bobby Slowik attended Michigan Tech University as a wide receiver. Slowik was a defensive assistant for Washington in 2011. From 2017-2018 Slowik was defensive quality control coach for the 49ers. In 2019 he switched to offenses as an offensive assistant in San Francisco. He was the 49ers offensive passing game specialist in 2021. In 2022 Slowik was promoted to offensive coordinator of the 49ers. Bobby Slowik was hired as offensive coordinator of the Houston Texans on February 12, 2023.




Sean Payton

Denver Broncos

Sean Payton attended Central High School in Naperville, Illinois. After High School Payton attended Eastern Illinois University as a Quarterback. He played in the inaugural season of the Arena Football League in 1987. Payton' only NFL action came when he was the Chicago Bears QB during the NFL strike in 1987. Payton began coaching in 1988 as an offensive assistant at San Diego State University. His first NFL coaching job was QB coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1997. In 1999 Payton was QB coach for the New York Giants and a year later was named the Giants offensive coordinator. Payton was the Cowboys QB coach and assistant head coach and then promoted to passing game coordinator in 2005. In 2006 Sean Payton was named head coach of the New Orleans Saints. In 2009 Payton lead the Saints to a victory in Super Bowl 44 in Miami. Payton was suspended for the 2012 season due to his role in Bountygate. In January of 2022 Sean Payton retired from coaching and then decided to return after a year off. The Saints posted Top-9 NFL rankings in yards per game in 13-of-15 seasons, including leading the league in yards six times (2006, '08-09, '11, '14, '16). New Orleans finished ranked in the Top-5 in the league in points per game nine times under Payton, including leading the NFL in scoring during back-to-back seasons from 2008-09. In total, his offenses with the Saints from 2006-21 ranked first in the NFL in yards per game (392.4) and second in points per game (27.6).Sean Payton was traded to the Denver Broncos for a 2023 first round pick and a 2024 second round pick. Sean Payton was named head coach of the Denver Broncos on January 31, 2023.

Joe Lombardi attended the United States Air Force Academy as a tight end. He was active in the Air Force for 4 years as a program manager on the F-22 program. In 2006 Lombardi was a defensive assistant for the Atlanta Falcons. In 2007 Lombardi was named an offensive assistant with the New Orleans Saints. Lombardi was promoted to the Saints QB coach in 2009. As Saints QB coach Lombardi helped guide QB Drew Brees to multiple passing records.In 2017, Brees set the NFL single-season record for completion percentage (72.0), completing 386-of-536 passes for 4,334 yards and 23 touchdowns, eight interceptions, his lowest total as a Saint to date and a 103.9 passer rating. Brees finished the 2018 regular season surpassing his prior NFL record for completion percentage (74.4%), leading the league with a 115.7 passer rating to go along with 32 touchdowns and only five interceptions in a season when he became the league's all-time completions and passing yardage leader. Lombardi became the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator for the 2014 season. In serving as coordinator of the Lions in 2014, the Detroit offense gained 5,452 total net yards, which was then the eighth-highest total in franchise history. WRs Calvin Johnson (1,077) and Golden Tate (1,331) became only the sixth Lions receiving duo to reach 1,000 receiving yards in the same season. QB Matthew Stafford led the Lions to five victories when trialing or tied in the fourth quarter or overtime as Detroit finished 11-5 and qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2011.In 2016 Lombardi returned to the Saints as QB coach. January of 2021 Lombardi was hired by the Los Angles Chargers to serve as offensive coordinator. Joe Lombardi was hired on February 25,2023 as the Denver Broncos offensive coordinator.



Shane Steichen

Indianapolis Colts


Shane Steichen attended Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hill, California. Steichen attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) as a Quarterback. In 2011 was a defensive assistant for the Chargers. Steichen moved to offense when he was the Browns offensive quality control coach in 2013. In 2014 Steichen returned to the Chargers as offensive quality control coach. Steichen was promoted to QB coach of the Chargers in 2016. He was named Chargers interim offensive coordinator in 2019. In 2019 for 8 games as Chargers interim offensive coordination Steichen lead the Chargers to be 5th in total yards per game (384.3), 6th in passing yards per game (272.1), 7th in third-down conversions (42.7%) and yards per play (5.9). He also helped QB Justin Herbert to set NFL rookie records in competitions and passing touchdowns while producing the second-most passing yards by a rookie in league history. Herbert also recorded Top 10 finishes in competitions (4th, tied), passing yards (6th) and passing touchdowns (10th). Steichen was named full time offensive coordinator of the Chargers in 2020. In 2020 Steichen's first full season as Chargers offensive coordinator they were the 9th ranked offense (382.1 yards per game), 6th in passing yards per game (270.6) and 9th in third-down efficiency (44.2%). Steichen's unit allowed the fourth-fewest giveaways (16, tied) in the NFL and ranked sixth in passing yards per game (270.6) as well as ninth in third-down efficiency (44.2 pct.).He was named offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021. In his first year with the Eagles in 2021 Steichen coordinated the league's most productive rushing offense, as Philadelphia ranked first in the NFL with franchise records in rushing yards (2,715) and rushing touchdowns (25). The Eagles also led the league in explosive plays (163) and ranked fourth in third-down percentage (team-record 45.7 pct.) and fifth in giveaways (16).Shane Steichen was named head coach of the Indianapolis Colts on February 14,2023.

Jim Bob Cooter attended Lincoln County High School in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Cooter was a backup QB at the University of Tennessee. He was a graduate assistant at Tennessee in 2007 and 2008. He was an offensive assistant for the Colts from 2009-2011. In 2012 Cooter was the offensive quality control coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs offensive staff that oversaw the fifth-ranked rushing offense in the league, producing 149.7 yards per game, as RB Jamaal Charles finished the season with 1,509 yards (fourth-most in the league) and earned Pro Bowl recognition.He was an offensive assistant for the Broncos in 2013.Denver's offense led the NFL in multiple categories, including total yards per game (465.3), total touchdowns (76) and points per game (37.9). Denver set numerous single-season offensive records including individual passing yards (Peyton Manning, 5,477), team total points (606) and individual passing TDs (Peyton Manning – 55). In 2014 Cooter was hired as QB coach of the Lions. He was named offensive coordinator of the Lions in 2015 and served in that role until 2019. In 2015, the Lions led the NFL in red zone efficiency (69.39), while the offense produced eight fourth-quarter game-winning drives in 2016, with five different players catching at least 50 passes (only the fifth team in league history to do so).Cooter was the RB coach of the New York Jets in 2019. In 2022 Cooter was the Jaguars Passing game coordinator. Jim Bob Cooter was hired as offensive coordinator of the of Indianapolis Colts on February 20, 2023.




Jonathan Gannon

Arizona Cardinals

Jonathan Gannon was a 3 sport athlete (Football, Basketball, and Track and Field) at Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Gannon attended the University of Louisville. In 2007 Gannon was defensive quality control coach for the Atlanta Falcons. He was the defensive quality control coach for the Tennessee Titans in 2012. In 2014 Gannon was named Minnesota Vikings assistant defensive backs coach and defensive quality control coach. The Vikings ranked second in the NFL in red zone defense (48.6 pct.) and third in scoring defense (18.8 ppg), total defense (319.9 pg), passing defense (214.6 pg) and third-down defense (35.1 pct.). Gannon was the Indianapolis Colts defensive backs coach and cornerback coach in 2018. The Colts rank sixth in interceptions (45, tied), ninth in scoring defense (22.5 ppg) and 10th in total defense (339.5 ypg) and red zone defense (55.9 pct., tied) during his three seasons with the team. Gannon was named defensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021. In 2021 Gannon directed the 10th-ranked defense (328.8 ypg) in the NFL. The Eagles, who posted the second-most defensive touchdowns (five) and allowed the fifth-fewest explosive plays (117) in the league, also finished ninth in opponent rushing yards per game (107.9) and opponent three-and-out percentage (33.1 pct.). Jonathan Gannon was named head coach of the Arizona Cardinals on February 14, 2023.

Drew Petzing attended Millbury College as a defensive back but injuries cut his playing career short. In 2014 Petzing was an offensive assistant for the Minnesota Vikings. In 2016 he was the Vikings assistant WR coach. He was the assistant QB coach of the Vikings in 2018. Petzing was promoted to Vikings WR coach in 2019. In January of 2020 Petzing was named the TE coach of the Cleveland Browns. In 2021, the Browns were the only team to have three tight ends record at least three receiving touchdowns as Njoku led the team in touchdown catches.
