Play 'Em Bench 'Em QBs for Week 16

Play ‘Em

1.Baker Mayfield vs Cincinnati Bengals

Last week in a tough match up Mayfield played well as he threw 2 touchdown passes. This week he faces the Bengals who have been very generous to opposing passers this season. The Bengals have given up an average of 42.11 points per game to opposing QBs this season. They are the 31st ranked defense at defending the QB position.

2. Dak Prescott vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This week Prescott should look to get back on track as him and the whole Cowboys offense struggled last week versus the Indianapolis Colts. This is a good week to try and get back on track as he faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who have struggled to stop anyone on defense this season. The Buccaneers have given up an average of 41.25 points per game to opposing QBs this season. They are the 30th ranked defense at defending the QB position.

Bench ‘Em

1. Cam Newton vs Atlanta Falcons

In the past 5 games Newton has really struggled as he is not throwing the ball deep down the field. Most of his struggles to throw the ball deep is due to an injured right throwing shoulder. The Falcons have given up an average of 40.97 points per game to opposing QBs this season. They are the 29th ranked defense at defending the QB position.

2.Lamar Jackson @ Los Angeles Chargers

Since Jackson took over the starting QB job for the Ravens he has been more of a runner than a passer. He may find it difficult this week as the Chargers have an above average defenses line which should limit his rushing. The Chargers have given up an average of 32.68 points per game to opposing QBs this season. They are the 8th ranked defense at defending the QB position.
