Play 'EM Bench 'EM QBs For Week 3

Play ‘Em

Gardner Minshew

Jacksonville Jaguars @

Miami Dolphins

It looks like Minshew Mania has begun to run wild again down in Duval County. So far this season Gardner Minshew has thrown at least 3 passing touchdowns in each of his first two games. That should continue this week as he faces the Dolphins who are only second to the Falcons in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs this season. The Dolphins have given up an average of 30.09 points per game to opposing QBs this season. They are the 31st ranked defense at defending the QB position.

Ryan Tannehill

Tennessee Titans @

Minnesota Vikings

So far this season Ryan Tannehill has showed the Titans that it was a wise choice in signing him to a contract extension this offseason. He is the third ranked QB in terms of points scored since Week 8 of last season. He faces a Vikings defense that has given up five touchdowns to opposing passers this season. The Vikings have given up an average of 20.71 points per game to opposing QBs this season. They are the 21st ranked defense at defending the QB position.

Bench ‘Em

Kirk Cousins

Minnesota Vikings vs

Tennessee Titans

If you saw Kirk Cousins play last week you know how awful he played and it may not have been a one time occurrence. Cousins has fewer than 14 fantasy points in four of his last five games including last season. This week he faces a Titans defense that has given up fewer than 16 points to home QBs since last season. The Titans have given up an average of 18.30 points per game to opposing QBs this season. They are the 13th ranked defense at defending the QB position.

Blake Bortles

Denver Broncos vs

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This past week the Broncos lost QB Drew Lock and have now turned to veteran QB Blake Bortles. You should not do the same for your fantasy team this week. The reason is that Bortles was just signed and may not have a complete grasp of the entire offense just yet. The Buccaneers have given up an average of 14.15 points per game to opposing QBs this season. They are the 6th ranked defense at defending the QB position.
