Play ‘Em Bench ‘Em RBs for Week 13

Play ‘Em

1. Carlos Hyde vs Indianapolis Colts

This week Hyde is in line for more carries as Leonard Fournette is suspended for the game. The Jaguars should look to have Hyde as the lead back as he has a closer run style than T.J. Yeldon. The Colts have given up an average of 26.25 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 22nd ranked defense at defending the RB position.

2. Gus Edwards @ Atlanta Falcons

Since Edwards played in Week 11 he has taken over the Ravens backfield. With Lamar Jackson in at QB the Ravens run more zone reads which gives Edwards more opportunities to make plays. The Falcons have given up an average of 31.91 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 30th ranked defense at defending the RB position.

Bench ‘Em

1. Payton Barber vs Carolina Panthers

The past two weeks Barber has found the end zone but that trend should stop versus the Panthers. The Buccaneers should get down early in the game and abandon the run game to try and catch up. The Panthers have given up an average of 20.62 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 8th ranked defense at defending the RB position.

2. Colts RBs @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Colts backfield has been tough to read this season and will not be any easier this week. With Marlon Mack banged up you do not if he will play or not this week. The Jaguars have given up an average of 17.61 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 1st ranked defense at defending the RB position.
