Play 'EM Bench 'EM RBs For Week 16

Play ‘EM

Giovanni Bernard Cincinnati Bengals @ Houston Texans

Since the Bengals lost RB Joe Mixon to a foot injury Gio Bernard has stepped in and played extremely well. This week Gio’s great plays should continue as he faces the Texas who have really struggled to stop opposing RBs this season. The Texans have given up an average of 136 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. They have given up a top 15 RB finish in 12 of the 14games that they have played this season. The Texans have given up 30.80 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 31st ranked defense at defending the RB position.

Leonard Fournette Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Detroit Lions

Last week Bucs RB Leonard Fournette stepped up for the injured RoJo and had 2 rushing touchdowns versus the Atlanta Falcons. This week it looks like Fournette is going to get the start again this week as RoJo is expected to miss this weeks game versus the Detroit Lions. The Lions have given up an average of 116 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. They have given up a top 15 RB finish in 11 of the 14 games that they have played this season. The Lions have given up an average of 31.86 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 32nd ranked defense at defending the RB position.

Bench ‘EM

Todd Gurley Atlanta Falcons @ Kansas City Chiefs

Since suffering a knee injury versus the Saints Todd Gurley has not looked like he is healthy. It has really showed in how the Falcons have used Gurley as he has averaged just 19 snaps and 6.7 touches over his last three games. Gurley also has lost his starting spot as Ito Smith has been named the starting RB for the Falcons for this week. The Chiefs have given up an average of 99 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. They have given up a top 10 RB finish in 2 of the 14 games that they have played this season. The Chiefs have given up an average of 24.37 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 23rd ranked defense at defending the RB position.

Mike Davis Carolina Panthers @ Washington Football Team

This week if Christian McCaffrey returns it would mean that Mike Davis would go back to the bench. Even if for some reason McCaffrey were not to play it is not a good matchup for Davis. Only three opposing RBs have scored more than 14.7 fantasy points against Washington all season. The Washington Football Team have given up an average of 86 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. They have given up a top 10 RB finish in 4 of the 14 games that they have played this season. The Washington Football Team have given up an average of 19.45 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 3rd ranked defense at defending the RB position.
