Play 'Em Bench 'Em RBs For Week 2

Play 'Em

1.Sony Michel New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins

Last week Michel was a big disappointment as he had just 15 rushing attempts for only 14 yards. This week that should change as they face the Dolphins who the Ravens just gashed for 265 yards on the ground. The Patriots will probably be winning early so they will want to run the ball to chew the clock. The Dolphins have given an average of 38.90 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 30th ranked defense at defending the RB position.

2.Kerryon Johnson Detroit Lions vs Los Angles Chargers

This season the Lions want to run the ball more than they did last season but they did not do that last week. This week they should look to get the run game going as they face a Chargers defense who gave up 203 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown to the Colts. The Chargers have given up an average of 31.10 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 24th ranked defense at defending the RB position.

Bench 'Em

1.Kenyan Drake Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots

With how the game last week went with the Dolphins getting down big early made Drake a nonfactor as they abandoned the run. This will most likely happen again as they Face the Patriots who are a much better team than the Dolphins. The Dolphins also have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL as they have backup players at both tackle positions. The Patriots have give up an average of 12.10 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 5th ranked defense at defending the RB position.

2.Broncos RBs vs Chicago Bears

It looks like we are headed for a running back by committee in Denver and that is bad for fantasy football. It is hard to know which back to really trust as Philip Lindsay had 11 carries and Royce Freeman had 10 carries last week verses the Raiders. This is a bad week to play either back as they face a Bears defense who shutdown the Packers Aaron Jones last week. The Bears have given up an average of 8.40 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 2nd ranked defense at defending the RB position.
