Play 'EM Bench 'EM RBs For Week 5

Play 'EM

1.David Johnson Arizona Cardinals @ Cincinnati Bengals

This season Johnson has not lived up to his first round draft pick. This week he should live up to that as he faces the Bengals who have been gashed in the run game this season. The Bengals have given up an average of 38.39 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 32nd ranked defense at defending the RB position.

2.Melvin Gordon Los Angles Chargers vs Denver Broncos

Melvin Gordon finally caved in and ended his holdout with the Chargers last Thursday. This week he should get his normal work load which is good as he could easily be a top 5 RB this week. He faces the Broncos who just allowed Leonard Fournette to have over 200 yards rushing. The Broncos have given up an average of 27.95 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 27th ranked defense at defending the RB position.

Bench 'EM

1.Adrian Peterson Washington Redskins vs New England Patriots

When Derrius Guice went down with a knee injury Adrian Peterson became the starting RB which seemed like it was good. The first week Peterson was the starter he had a good game as he scored but it has been down hill since. The Redskins will probably be down in the game and have to throw the ball more than run the ball. The Patriots have given up an average of 14.98 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 2nd ranked defense at defending the RB position.

2.Josh Jacobs Oakland Raiders vs Chicago Bears

This week Jacobs has one of if not the worst matchups for a RB this week. He is facing a Bears defense who just last week shutdown the Vikings Dalvin Cook who has been on a tear to start the season so far. The Bears have given up an average of 20.53 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 8th ranked defense at defending the RB position.
