James Robinson Jacksonville Jaguars vs Houston Texans

This week the Jaguars are turning to a rookie QB as starter Gardner Minshew is out with an injury. That may be good for Robinson as the Jags may look to run the ball even more this week to take pressure off of their rookie QB. The Texans have given up an average of 151 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. They have given up a top 15 RB finish in 5 of the 7 games that they have played this season. The Texans have given up 31.29 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 30th ranked defense at defending the RB position.

San Francisco 49ers RBs vs Green Bay Packers

If you saw the Packers game last week you know they were gashed by the Vikings Dalvin Cook for 4 touchdowns. This week the 49ers also may look to have more of a run heavy game plan as they are missing QB Jimmy Garoppolo. The Packers have given up an average of 105 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. They have given up a top 15 RB finish in 6 of the 7 games that they are played this season. The Packers have given up an average of 35.63 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 32nd ranked defense at defending the RB position.

Ronald Jones Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints

It looks like Ronald Jones may have lost control of the Bucs backfield with how bad he played last week. Last week Jones had a fumble earlier on in the game versus the Giants and looked like he got benched because of it. After Jones fumbled he got only 2 rush attempts and had 2 catches and was also out snapped by Leonard Fournette. Fournette had 71% of the snaps to Jones 26% of the snaps. The Saints have given up an average of 78 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. They have not given up a top 10 RB finish so far this season. The Saints have not given up a 100 yard rusher in 50 straight games. The Saints have given up an average of 19.76 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 6th ranked defense at defending the RB position.

Ezekiel Elliott Dallas Cowboys vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Since the Cowboys lost QB Dak Prescott to an ankle injury in week 5 they have really struggled to do anything offensively. It has really affected Zeke as he has not scored a touchdown since Prescott was injured. Elliott has also not had more than 65 rushing yards in a game since Prescott was lost for the season. The Steelers have given up an average of 78 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. They have given up a top 10 RB finish in 1 of the 7 games that they have played this season.

The Steelers have given up an average of 17.99 points per game to opposing RBs this season. They are the 2nd ranked defense at defending the RB position.
