Play 'Em Bench 'Em WRs For Week 1

Play 'Em

1.Will Fuller Houston Texans @ New Orleans Saints

Last season if there was one way to attack the Saints defense it was there second cornerback. That is who will be guarding Fuller as the Saints best corner ,Marshon Lattimore, will be guarding DeAndre Hopkins. Last season the Saints gave up an average of 43.80 points per game to opposing WRs. They were the 32nd ranked defense at defending the WR position.

2.Chris Godwin Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs San Francisco 49ers

If you have been paying attention in the offseason you know Chris Godwin is a strong breakout candidate for this season. He may begin his breakout this week as he faces a poor 49ers defense. Mike Evans will take the attention of the defense and allow Godwin to flourish. Last season the 49ers gave up an average of 38.19 points per game to opposing WRs. They were the 26th ranked defense at defending the WR position.

Bench 'Em

1.DeVante Parker Miami Dolphins vs Baltimore Ravens

This season the Dolphins offense very well will be a fantasy wasteland and will start this week versus the Baltimore Ravens. They do not have starters at either of their tackle positions which is not good. With not having starters at their tackle spots Ryan Fitzpatrick will not have any time to get the ball to DeVante Parker or anyone in the offense. Last season the Ravens gave up an average of 30.13 points per game to opposing WRs. They were the 7th ranked defense at defending the WR position.

2.Willie Snead Baltimore Ravens @ Miami Dolphins

If you have seen the Ravens play you know why you do not want to play Willie Snead. It is hard to play a receiver that plays in an offense that runs the ball more than 50% of the time. The Ravens should be up on the Dolphins and abandon the pass game and run the ball to eat up the clock. Last season the Dolphins gave up an average of 32.75 points per game to opposing WRs. They were the 8th ranked defense at defending the WR position.
