Play ‘Em Bench ‘Em WRs For Week 7

Play ‘EM

Calvin Ridley

Atlanta Falcons @

Miami Dolphins

So far this season it has really been a struggle for Calvin Ridley but this may be the week he breaks out. Ridley is still getting the deep pass targets for Matt Ryan which is a positive thing. The Dolphins have given up an average of 210 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs this season. They have given up a top 10 WR finish in 2 of the 6 games that they have played this season. The Dolphins have given up an average of 44.12 points per game to opposing WRs this season. They are the 30th ranked defense at defending the WR position.

Tim Patrick

Denver Broncos @

Cleveland Browns

Since the Broncos suffered all of the injuries at the WR position it was a good thing for Tim Patrick. Since Patrick moved up the depth chart he has played extremely well and that should continue this week versus a poor Browns secondary. The Browns have given up an average of 186 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs this season. They have given up a top 10 WR finish in 4 of the 6 games that they have played this season. The Browns have given up an average of 40.88 points per game to opposing WRs this season. They are the 27th ranked defense at defending the WR position.

Bench ‘EM

Odell Beckham

Cleveland Browns vs

Denver Broncos

Last week OBJ really struggled versus the Chiefs and he even had to leave the game with a shoulder injury. This week his injury could limit his ability to preform well or even his ability to play at all. Even if OBJ plays he will be without his QB who is dealing with a shoulder injury as well. The Broncos have given up an average of 182 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs this season. They have given up a top 10 WR finish in 1 of the 6 games that they have played this season. The Broncos have given up an average of 37.22 points per game to opposing WRs this season. They are the 15th ranked defense at defending the WR position.

Corey Davis

New York Jets @

New England Patriots

This week the Jets pass game will not be cleared to take flight versus the Patriots. If the last meeting between these two teams is any indication of how this week will go it will not be pretty for Corey Davis and the Jets pass game. New England has been tough on receivers out wide, as they have allowed just three touchdown receptions. In Week 2 Davis was limited to two receptions for eight yards and had 2.8 fantasy points versus the Patriots. The Patriots have given up an average of 182 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs this season. They have given up a top 10 WR finish in 1 of the 6 games that they have played this season. The Patriots have given up an average of 36.97 points per game to opposing WRs this season. They are the 13th ranked defense at defending the WR position.
