Marvin Jones Jr. Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings

This week Marvin Jones should be in store for a bigger role in the offense than he usual is. The reason is Lions receiver Kenny Golladay is going to miss the game due to a hip injury. The Vikings have given up an average of 193 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs this season. They have given up a top 10 WR finish in 5 of the 7 games that they have played this season. The Vikings have given up an average of 46.23 points per game to opposing WRs this season. They are the 30th ranked defense at defending the WR position.

Stefon Diggs Buffalo Bills vs Seattle Seahawks

So far this season the move from the Vikings to the Bills has been a good one for Stefon Diggs. The reason is Bills QB Josh Allen likes to throw the ball deep which played right into Diggs strength as a receiver. The Seahawks have given up an average of 264 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs this season. They have given up a top 10 WR finish in 6 of the 7 games that they have played this season. The Seahawks have given up an average of 57.69 points per game to opposing WRs this season. They are the 32nd ranked defense at defending the WR position.

Amari Cooper Dallas Cowboys vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Since Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was lost to injury the Cowboys have not looked the same offensively. Since Prescott was injured WR Amari Cooper has had only 1 touchdown reception and has had no more than 80 receiving yards in a game. This week it should not get any easier for Cooper as the Cowboys are having a competition to decide the starting QB this week. The Steelers have given up an average of 180 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs this season. They have given up a top 10 WR finish in 3 of the 7 games that they have played this season. The Steelers have given up an average of 40.19 points per game to opposing WRs this season. They are the 25th ranked defense at defending the WR position.

Mike Evans Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints

This week with the return of Chris Godwin and the debut of Antonio Brown may really hurt Mike Evans. It is already a tough matchup for Evans as he faces a Saints defense that has had his number the past few times these two teams have met. In Evans last 4 games versus the Saints he has not had more than 4 receptions in any of those games. The Saints have given up an average of 172 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs this season. They have given up a top 10 WR finish in 3 of the 7 games that they have played this season. The Saints have given up an average of 39.83 points per game to opposing WRs this season. They are the 23rd ranked defense at defending the WR position.
