Week 6 Waiver Wire

Quarterback

Andy Dalton

Dallas Cowboys

This past week the Cowboys lost stating QB Dak Prescott for the season to a dislocated and broken ankle. This opens up the door for Andy Dalton to come in and take over the Cowboys offense. Dalton should do well as the Cowboys offense is one of the top passing offenses. Andy Dalton had 111 passing yards with 0 passing touchdowns vs the New York Giants last week. That was 2.44 fantasy points and was good for the 25th best  fantasy QB finish this week. Andy Dalton is owned in 0.4% of fantasy leagues.

Running Back

Alexander Mattison

Minnesota Vikings

This past week Dalvin Cook left the game versus the Seahawks with a groin injury and did not return to the game. Alexander Mattison showed that if Cook were to have to miss any time he would be a serviceable replacement. Alexander Mattison had 112 rushing yards and 3 receptions for 24  yards vs the Seattle Seahawks last week. That was 16.60  fantasy points and was the 14th best fantasy RB finish this week. Alexander Mattison is owned in 11.6%  of fantasy leagues.

Wide Receiver

Tee Higgins

Cincinnati Bengals

This week Bengals WR A.J. Green suffered a hamstring injury which may help Tee Higgins. Higgins had already started to take over A.J. Greens’ roll in the offense and this may be what pushes Higgins past Green. Tee Higgins had 4 receptions for 62 yards and 0 touchdown vs the Baltimore Ravens. That was 10.20 fantasy points last week and was the 40th best fantasy WR finish this week. Tee Higgins is owned in 24.6% of fantasy leagues.

Tight End

Cameron Brate

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With the injury to O.J. Howard it should open up opportunities for Brate in the Bucs offense. QB Tom Brady has said he wants to get Brate more involved in the pass game which is good. Brady also trust Brate as last week he threw the ball to Brate on 4th down when they were trying to make a comeback to win the game. Cameron Brate had 5 receptions for 44  yards vs the Chicago Bears last week. That was 9.40 fantasy points and was the 11th best TE finish this week. Cameron Brate is owned in 0.4% of fantasy leagues.
